Welcome to our Out of School Care facillity at Orbiston Neighbourhood Centre

The aim of this project is to provide affordable, high quality childcare in line with the local childcare strategy plan. We provide before and after school care during school term time and full day care during school holidays allowing parents and guardians to continue in or return to work, education or training knowing their children are being cared for in a safe, stimulating and fun environment. 

Our staff team is made up of Jayne Laird (Co-ordinator), Colette Rooney (Senior Worker), Anne Kirkland, Martin Girvan, Sarika Singh and Laura Boyle (Workers).  A dedicated team of volunteers supports the team and together they have created an environment where children can enjoy play and educational activities.  Staff and volunteers are undertaking relevant training now required within childcare services.

Out of school care provides peace of mind for parents who are working, studying etc. We provide good quality affordable childcare between 7.30-9am & 3-6pm term time, and from 8am-6pm during school holidays. We accept children from all of Bellshill’s Primary and High schools. We have a great range of activities for the children & a small team of highly trained staff.
